Kendriya Vidyalaya No2, Air Force Station, Adampur Doaba came into existence in 1983. It was founded under auspice of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an Autonomous organisation which function under the shelter of ministry of Human Resource Development. The main aim of Kendriya Vidyalaya is to provide excellence in education through uniform syllabi, common textbooks and medium of instruction. the School is affiliated to CBSE and the medium of instruction of Science and Mathematics is English and for Social Science, bilingual. The Vidyalaya is presently being run in the grand new building constructed on the land measuring 8.2 acres, located in the campus of Air Force Station Adampur Doaba at a distance of 0.4 km from bus stand and 2.5 km from railways station, Khuradpur.
