Regional Sports
meet Kho-Kho Girls 2008-09 was held from
10-9-2008 to 13-9-2008 . There was a over
whelming response from the various KV's
falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu region.
18 teams comprising of 18 escorts participated
in the said event. The meet was inaugurated by
Wing Comm. A. Mukherjee. Chief Operation
Officer, AFS Adampur.
As per KVS
rules league cum knock out matches was followed
to conduct the matches. The final match was
played between KV-1 Amritsar & KV-2 AFS Adampur.
The result of
the meet is as follows:
1. KV-1 Amritsar -1st
2. KV-2 AFS Adampur - 2nd
3.KV Nangalbhur- 3rd
The Retreat
Ceremony was Chaired by by the Principal.Medal
and merits certificates were awarded to the
winners and two runner up teams.

Station Commander
Group Captain P.W. Abekar inaugrated the Sports
Meet. |

Flag hoisting was
made on the very start of the sports meet. |

Formal wlcome was
given to the Chief Guest by the Principal. |

Banana Race,
Baloon Race, Skipping Race, Matka Race, 100 m
Race, Hurdle race etc. were presented by the
students of different classes to make the
occasion. |

Dumble Display,
Ribbon Display, Bhangra etc. were shown by the
students. |
|
|
First three
categories students under each group were
awarded with medals Mrs. Veena Ambekar, first
lady of the station distributed medals among the
students. |

|
Vote of thanks
was given by the Vice Principal. |

got second position in Regional Sports meet at
Chandigarh. |

5 students were
selected for KVS National Sports meet at Bhopal
Region. |

2 Boys of Kho-Kho
team got first position in KVS Sports meet and
received cash award of Rs. 500/- each. |

|
37th KVS Regional Sports Meet (2006-2007) for
Kho-Kho Girls was held at K.V. No.-II AFS
Adampur from 06/09/2006 to 09/09/2006 in which
19 Vidyalayas and 227 students participated.
