Khatkan Kalan

An excursion trip was organised by K.V.2 Adampur on 12/02/2008 to Khatkan Kalan, Birth Place of "Shaheed-A-Aazam" Bhagat Singh.

Contingent of 132 students comprising students of class 8th A, B, C and 9th A. Sh. R. K. Sharma-TGT Hindi, Sh. Jang Bahadur-TGT Sanskrit, Mrs. Harminder Kaur-TGT Maths and Mrs. S. Mullan-TGT S.S.T., escorted the students.

Students viksited Shaheed Bhagat Singh house which is now converted in National Heritage Monument and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Museum which contain rare collection of pictures depicting various moments of Bhagat Singh and other revolutionaries life who had sacrificed their lives in Indian Freedom Struggle.

It was a very fruitful visit and students were influenced by life d sacrifice of this great "Hero of the Nation".
